Fixed my issue. August 30, 2010 Kyle Holt I was having issues with my video in all parts of the house. I've a two story house with a basement. The Cable comes into the basement and I have direct lines to all the rooms from there. This means I have some semi long runs.
Before I put this in I had issues with just channels 2-6 but the rest worked fine. Not sure why it was limited to just those channels.
I put this splitter in the basement and plugged it in. It took the squiggly lines out of the channels and everything is much clearer. I would highly recommend using this. Just FYI. I knew the signal coming in was clean because I had 1 TV that was split off separtly and it was clear.
Very Satisfied August 29, 2010 Kenton Ackerman I liked it enough to buy another. I like the quality of materials and the amp performance. Great product! My only negatives are the screw mounting slots are a little small, and mounting screws didn't come with it.
Worth every penny!! Works Great!!! August 23, 2010 sylver struck (yakima valley, washington, USA) Just like many others have said, this amp works awesome!!! So I purchased this amp with hopes that my (basic cable)channels would come in more clear. Two great things happened: 1. My channels came in super clear 2. My two HD t.v.s picked up plenty of HD channels, that I wasn't able to get previously!!!
I did try hooking up my cable modem to the amp outlet but my model didn't pick up any signal. So, like others suggested, I put a splitter on main line, with one cable going to amp and the other going to cable modem.
I definitely recommend this amp!!!!
Good amplified splitter August 17, 2010 David Vonderharr (Eden Priaire, MN USA) This splitter is very reasonably priced and the signal gain from amplification more than compensates for the loss due to splitting 8-ways.
A-OK August 12, 2010 Scott Riedel (Weston, WI USA) This product has worked well for me so far! The tilling has disappeared since I plugged it in.
